Overview
Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of India’s West Bengal state. Founded as an East India Company trading post, it was India’s capital under the British Raj from 1773–1911. Today it’s known for its grand colonial architecture, art galleries and cultural festivals. It’s also home to Mother House, headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Teresa, whose tomb is on site.

Early morning departure from Kolkata for Basanti port by surface (92 kms approx 3 Hrs
journey) through the village of Bengal . Transfer to Deluxe launch for journey towards
main forest area through riverine way. Afternoon arrival at Sundarbans. Enjoy forest
excursion during afternoon and evening through the creeks of riverine way of the dense
forest. Overnight stay at hotel/Resort in Sundarbans.
Morning visit nature interpretation center to gather experience about the Different
species and projects on Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest of the world. Visit
crocodile project also. Full day excursion inside the forest to search the world-famous
Royal Bengal Tiger and crocodile. Enjoy the view of the forest from different watch towers
inside the forest. Overnight stay at Sundarbans.
After breakfast we visit the wildlife and afternoon transfer to Port / Jetty. Drive to Kolkata
again with unforgettable experience. After reach in Kolkata , transfer to hotel , rest of the
evening free for shopping & own activities, O/n stay at hotel.
In time escorted transfer to the airport to connect the flight for onward destination.-
