Morning after Breakfast - Transfer to Thimphu after making Tourist
permit at Phuentsholing Immigration Office and transfer to Thimphu,
(which is Approx. 5 Hours/ 172 Km from Phuentsholing town) Thimphu,
Bhutan’s capital, occupies a valley in the country’s western interior. In
addition to being the government seat, the city is known for its Buddhist
sites. The massive Tashicchhoe Dzong is a fortified monastery and
government palace with gold-leaf roofs. The Memorial Chorten, a
whitewashed structure with a gold spire, is a revered Buddhist shrine
dedicated to Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Check in at

Thimphu to excursion Punakha and Later Transfer to Paro -

Morning transfer to Punakha, it is approximately 90 kilometers and is
nearly 03Hrs driver from Thimphu. En-route visit 1) Dochu la Pass, 2)
Chhimi Lhakhang, 3) Punakha Dzong, 4) Suspension Bridge (Longest
Bridge in Bhutan) and later Transfer to Paro- After breakfast: Transfer to
Paro - passing by Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge En Route, distancing
approximately 143 km and 5 hours from Punakha. It is the site of the
country’s only international airport and is also known for the many sacred
sites in the area. It has a population of 39, 800 - On arrival check in at the
hotel – Overnight stay at Paro.

Paro Local Sightseeing and – Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery and
Overnight Stay at Paro

Morning after Breakfast - Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery (Hike uphill will
take around 2/3 Hrs on way)

Paro Taktsang is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and the
temple complex is located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley in
Bhutan.
A temple complex was first built in 1692, around the Taktsang Singe
Samdrup cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for
three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the
8th century. Padmasambhava is credited with introducing Buddhism to
Bhutan and is the tutelary deity of the country. Today, Paro Taktsang is the
best known of the thirteen Taktsang or "tiger lair" caves in which he
meditated and later Visit - 1) Tiger Nest Monasteries (Viewpoint) and 2)
Ta Dzong (Paro Museum)
