Overview
Assam is a state in northeastern India known for its wildlife, archeological sites and tea plantations. In the west, Guwahati, Assam’s largest city, features silk bazaars and the hilltop Kamakhya Temple. Umananda Temple sits on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra river. The state capital, Dispur, is a suburb of Guwahati. The ancient pilgrimage site of Hajo and Madan Kamdev, the ruins of a temple complex, lie nearby.

You will be received at the airport/railway station in Guwahati by our representative. Then
transferred to Shillong, shortly after which we will take a halt to witness the breathtaking sight of Umiam Lake, which is considered to be the largest man-made lake of North East. Check-in at a pre-
booked hotel in Shillong. Overnight stay at the hotel Shillong.
Today, post sumptuous breakfast, you will proceed for a excursion to the hill station. You will be
visiting top attractions of the place, such as the astounding Don Bosco Museum (Sunday close ),
Ward’s Lake, Cathedral, the mesmerizing Lady Hydari Park (Monday Close), and Police Bazar etc.. The
evening will be free at leisure for you to relax and re-energize. Overnight stay at Hotel Shillong .
Entire Day Cherrapunjee Local, Includes, Today post breakfast, you will proceed to Cherrapunji. On
midway you will visit the breathtaking Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak to enjoy the scenic view of
the city from above.Upon arrival at Cherrapunji, we will commence with our sightseeing tour and
visit famous attractions such as Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Mawsmai Caves. Overnight stay at
Hotel Cherrapunjee .
Post breakfast, we will proceed to visit the cleanest village of Asia - Mawllynnong. You will also get a
chance to explore the nearby villages and witness the amazing living root bridges.Later on, you will
be transferred to the international border of Bangladesh, wherein you will be visiting Dawki Village.
This village is known for having some of the cleanest rivers, a classic example of which is the
enchanting Umngot River.Later on, you will return to Shillong for a relaxing overnight stay. Overnight
stay at Hotel Shillong .
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Guwahati. If time permits, afternoon
visit to Basistha Ashram, Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra, ‘Jagran’ store for authentic Assamese
silks & handicrafts. Evening at leisure or experience the River Cruise on Brahmaputra (Pre booking
only). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Guwahati Airport / Railway station as per timings.
Complimentary visit to Kamakhya Temple, if time permits. The trip ends with memories.
