Overview
Assam is a state in northeastern India known for its wildlife, archeological sites and tea plantations. In the west, Guwahati, Assam’s largest city, features silk bazaars and the hilltop Kamakhya Temple. Umananda Temple sits on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra river. The state capital, Dispur, is a suburb of Guwahati. The ancient pilgrimage site of Hajo and Madan Kamdev, the ruins of a temple complex, lie nearby.

Tour Plan
Welcome on arrival at Guwahati airport & transfer to Bhalukpong. Check-in at your
hotel/Lodge/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning river rafting on Jia Bhorali river. After breakfast, check out from your hotel & move to
the state border. Per issued ILP for Indian Guests are required to enter Arunachal Pradesh. Later
transfer to Dirang. On the way visit Tippi orchidarium with over 7500 orchids. On arrival at Dirang,
check in to your hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Dirang.
After breakfast transfer to Tawang. On the way, visit the war cemetery. Continue with the drive till
you reach Sela Pass at an altitude of 4114m / 13494 ft. It is famous for high altitude lakes & scenic
beauty & is ideal for ice skating during winter. Check in to the hotel on arrival at Tawang. Overnight
stay in Tawang.
DAY 4: TAWANG
After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery, Namgye Lhaste, Tawang War Memorial, Giant Buddha Statue.
Evening return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Post breakfast, leave for a day excursion to Bumla, near the Indo-China border. Keep your lens ready
for some exciting shots shots. En route also visit PT Tso and Madhuri Lake (Sungester Lake). Return
back to the hotel. Afternoon visits the local market on your own. Overnight stay at Tawang hotel.
After Breakfast transfer to Bomdila. Check-in the hotel. After lunch, visit GontseRabgyaling
Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thumb-Chong Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa). Bomdila offers a
wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow-clad ranges. Evening you can visit
the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila.
Post breakfast, check out from your hotel & transfer Tezpur. Check-in at your hotel/Lodge/resort.
Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning after breakfast, check out from your hotel & transfer to Guwahati airport for the drop.
