Overview
The Dooars belonged to the Kamata Kingdom under the Koch dynasty; They acted as a trade route between Assam and Bhutan. Assam exports Muga, silk cloth, endi cloth, dried fish and rice and imports consisted of woollen cloth, gold-dust, rock salt, yaktails musk, ponies and blankets from Bhutan.

Tour Plan
Meet & greet on arrival at Mal Junction and transfer to Murti, which is located on the bank
of a beautiful Murti river. Check in at the beautifully located forest resort on the bank of
Murti River. Free evening to enjoy the nature on the river bank. Overnight stay at hotel at
Murti.
Today morning proceed for Garumara Jeep Safari through the typical forest trail and come
to a watch tower at deer land inside the core of the forest. There is a salt pit close to the
tower where the animals regularly visit to taste salt. Spend some time at the fresh
natural surroundings and back to hotel.
In the evening we will take you for Chuckchuki Watch Tower. This is the perfect place for
watching wild animals because the frequently visit this spot to drink water. Enjoy
watching Wild animals and then proceed to Kalamati - a typical remote tribal village on
the border of the national park. See the ethnic lifestyle of the villagers. Back at the Guest
house. Overnight stay at hotel at Murti.
Today after breakfast check out from the Guest house and transfer to Lolegaon, which is
located on the foot hill of Kalimpong. On the way you will be visiting Lava which is
situated at an altitude of 2100m, you can visit the famous Lava monastery, after visiting
these places we will take you to Lolegaon. Check in at the hotel. Overnight Stay at
Lolegaon.
Today early morning proceed for Jhandidara, the highest point of Lolegaon from where
you can see an unforgettable view of Sunrise over the glittering Kangchenjunga, this
place is even famous for bird watchers. Back to hotel, after breakfast enjoys the unique
'Canopy Walk' over the century old mossy Oak and Cypress in the Heritage Forest, then
proceed to Samthar a small village. The condition of the road is bit rough and passes
through the dense pine forest. From Samthar one will be able to see the beautiful
location of plains. Spend some time at the village then return back to Lolegaon.
Overnight stay at Lolegaon
Today after breakfast transfer to Rajabhatkhawa a small tribal village in the Buxa Tiger
Reserve Center. Check in at the resort. Free evening for you. Overnight stay at
Rajabhatkhawa.
Today enjoy the Buxa Safari being the natural habitat for wild beast and birds. The safari
get through the core area of the Reserve & watch tower from where you will be able to
see the wild elephants and sometime even the Royal Bengal Tiger. Back at the forest
bungalow and after some relaxation transfer to Alipurduar Junction to catch the train as
per the schedule. Tour ends with sweet memories.
