Overview

After Breakfast: Transfer to Punakha from Thimphu - It is approximately 90
kilometers and is nearly 03 hours from Thimphu. Enroute Visit 1) Semtokha
Dzong, 2) Dochu la Pass, 3) Chhimi Lhakhang, 4) Punakha Dzong, 5) Suspension Bridge (Longest Bridge in Bhutan). Overnight stay at Punakha.
Punakha to transfer Paro & Overnight stay at Paro
After breakfast: Transfer to Paro - passing by Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge
En Route, distancing approximately 143 km and 5 hours from Punakha. It is
the site of the country’s only international airport and is also known for the
many sacred sites in the area. It has a population of 39, 800 - On arrival check

Paro Taktsang is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and the temple
complex is located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan.
A temple complex was first built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup
cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years,
three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the 8th century.
Padmasambhava is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan and is the
tutelary deity of the country. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the
thirteen Taktsang or "tiger lair" caves in which he meditated and later Visit -
1) Tiger Nest Monasteries (Viewpoint) and 2) Ta Dzong (Paro Museum)
