Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) is the capital of India’s West Bengal state. Founded as an East India Company trading post, it was India’s capital under the British Raj from 1773–1911. Today it’s known for its grand colonial architecture, art galleries and cultural festivals. It’s also home to Mother House, headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Teresa, whose tomb is on site.

Early morning departure from Kolkata for Basanti port by surface (92 kms approx 3 Hrs
journey) through the village of Bengal . Transfer to Deluxe launch for journey towards
main forest area through riverine way. Afternoon arrival at Sunderban check in at Resort.
Enjoy forest excursion during afternoon and evening through the creeks of riverine way
of the dense forest. Overnight stay at hotel/Resort in Sunderban.
Morning visit nature interpretation centre to gather experience about the Different
species and projects on Sunderban, the largest mangrove forest of the world. Visit
crocodile project also. Full day excursion inside the forest to search the world famous
Royal Bengal Tiger and crocodile. Enjoy the view of the forest from different watch towers
inside the forest. Later transfer to Port / Jetty . Drive to Kolkata again with unforgettable
experience. After reach in Kolkata , transfer to hotel , rest of the evening free for own
activities, O/n stay at hotel.
